Don't Buy the Lie!

"Exhale believes abortion can be a normal part of the reproductive lives of women and girls." That's a direct quote from the web site of a non-political, non-judgmental web site that has just received national attention for creating sympathy cards for those that have recently experienced abortion. The organization is called Exhale. And they are, apparently, widely accepted and respected across the country -- and perhaps around the world.

While some of the cards are excellent, going even so far as to communicate that "The promise of God is to be with us through all of life's transitions. God will never leave you or forsake you. May you find comfort in God's constant love. Know that my prayers are with you at this time." While the message is infused with a truth regarding God's constant and abiding love for us -- no matter what -- the agenda behind the message is that abortion is okay.... A "normal part of the reproductive lives of women and girls." It's a wolf in sheep's clothing. It is godly compassion with a sinister agenda -- insisting that abortion be a NORMAL part of the reproductive lives of women and GIRLS!!! Oh how this must break God's heart!

I encourage you today, if you are trying to decide about abortion -- whether is it right or wrong, good or bad -- that you would do in-depth research on the subject. Go to Exhale's site and see who is behind that organization. See who supports them. Read through the list of names and organizations that are on their Board of Directors. Do not be deceived! (Planned Parenthood makes millions of dollars each year from ending the lives of unborn children!) Don't simply take my word for it. I am one person. But go to a place, like SafeHaven Ministries, where women are allowed to freely share their feelings after an abortion. Listen to their hearts. They know because they've been there and because abortion has wounded their lives, and at SafeHaven, the only agenda is to help women that are hurting because of a past abortion. Please don't listen to touchy, feely politically correct pseudo-"spiritual" people that insist that abortion can somehow be a normal part of being a woman....

And remember what abortion is:
Termination of pregnancy and expulsion of an embryo or of a fetus *
pregnancy: the condition of carrying developing offspring within the body
fetus: In humans, the unborn young from the end of the eighth week after conception to the moment of birth, as distinguished from the earlier embryo.

In the words of Horton the elephant:
A person's a person no matter how small.

The truth? Abortion hurts every life it touches!

Note: If you've been wounded by a past abortion, there is help for you! God DOES love you no matter what! And His desire is for your highest good. His love is perfect; unconditional; never-ending. Nothing can make Him stop loving you. But know that abortion is NOT His best for you. His way is the way of Life and Truth. And no matter how the circumstances appear to us, He can redeem them for His glory and for our good. Trust Him today and experience the better way of life! Hope and forgiveness are free, but we must cooperate with Him in order to receive them. He is reaching out to you today; take His hand.... Go HIS way! You will never regret it! Visit SafeHaven Ministries for more information about experiencing healing from a past abortion.

Quote of the Week: Abortion Hurts Every Life It Touches

pageheader_cwa.jpg
"Abortion is not, has never been, and never will be safe. It violates the natural order and goes against God's will. On the contrary, it comes with a very high price attached--the price of women's physical and emotional well-being and the psychological health of the entire family. Abortion hurts the lives of everyone it touches."

Quote of the Week: The Emotional Fallout of Abortion

The Emotional Fallout

Although the physical risks of abortion are daunting, the emotional effects are every bit as painful and enduring. Discovering Post-Abortion Syndrome (PAS) has changed the thinking of many abortion advocates.

The American Journal of Psychiatry reported that of 500 post-abortive women studied, 43 percent showed immediate negative responses. That number grew to 50 percent in a later review. Additionally, up to 10 percent of the women surveyed were classified as having developed "serious psychiatric complications."

Quote of the Week: The ABC Link

Abortion's Physical and Emotional Risks:
The Abortion-Breast Cancer Link

"I have three sisters with breast cancer, and I resent people messing with scientific data to further their own agenda, be they pro-choice or pro-life. I would have loved to have found no association between breast cancer and abortion, but our research is rock solid, and our data is accurate. It's not a matter of believing. It's a matter of what is."

- Dr. Janet Daling, who is pro-choice
