Prayer Warriors Needed!

We love being in this ministry! We love serving alongside the Lord on behalf of those wounded by abortion. Every day brings with it a fresh glimpse of the Savior's heart and a touch of His lovingkindness. We are continually blessed by the up-close view of His work by virtue of our assignment at In Our Midst.

At the same time, we are trespassing on the enemy of God's territory. Abortion has been his playground and his possession for the past 34 years and he is none too happy with what God is doing to take back this ground. So in short, while we love serving God here, we have also realized more every day that we are in the midst of a fierce battle. I could list all the ways he is attacking, all the little things he does to frustrate or violate us, but that's not really important. What is important is that we stay strong in the Lord and in His might. We can work toward that goal through personal time with our Father in prayer and meditating on His Word, but we also need the persistent prayer support of others. We cannot be as strong and effective in this battle without the support of our brothers and sisters in Christ.

So my request to you today is to take a few minutes and lift us to the Throne of Grace.... Pray for spiritual, physical and emotional protection for each of us on staff with In Our Midst and our families. (When the enemy cannot touch us, he moves on to those closest to us.) Pray that we would praise our God all the more whenever the enemy does attack, and that God would receive the glory no matter what.
