Jesus said in Luke 4:18 "...He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed..." If we truly desire to be the hands of Christ in the church, why wouldn't we extend a loving hand or a compassionate shoulder to the wounded in our midst? God could use each of us for His Glory as we help 'release the oppressed'---in what simple ways can we do that today?
